Winner of the Nesken Surf Biltzarra 2011!!!

Yesterday we had the 2nd stop of the Euskadi Championship in Bakio. It was the famous "Nesken Surf Biltzarra" which takes place every year (from a while ago) in different places of Euskadi. An only-for-girls championship sponsored by Euskaltel.

Although I had a really hard semi-final (I finally made it to the final in the last minute), I was really lucky in the final and caught the two best waves of the heat! :).

This win puts me in the lead of the Euskadi championship till the next (and last) stop which will take place in Zarautz the first weekend of October!! :)

2nd in Donosti

Sorry for the break on the updates, but I am on holidays and I am travelling around the north coast of Spain.

We had a good day of surfing in the competition, although I couldnt make the first place this time :).

(I am hidding behind Ana Moro's board!!heheh)

Surferucas 2011

Finally, after a few years with no waves, this year we had pretty nice waves and an awesome weather the day of the competition. We had a really great time thanks to the "Surferucas Team"!! They prepared many activities during the day and non-stop competing period.

The four girls of the final were Cynthia Borges (CNY), Andrea de la Mora and Mirka Martin (CAN) and myself (AND)

We finished 4th Cynthia, 3rd Mirka, 2nd Andrea and 1st Me :)!!

It was great to win this event, I was so excited that I started jumping on the podium!!! haha
