2xWorld Champ Miss Carissa Moore

Este fin de semana en Cascais (Portugal) se confirmó lo esperado por muchos, que Carissa Moore está en el mundo del surf para llevarse muchos títulos! :) aunque este año le ha costado un poco más que su primer título gracias al nivelón que ha puesto Tyler Wright entre otras.

Carissa Moore se vuelve a llevar el título de campeona mundial de surf a casa :). Pero esta chica no sólo es ya a sus 21 añitos 2 veces campeona del mundo, si no que ha hecho que el surf de chicas suba tanto de nivel que se llegue a equiparar en algunos momentos al de chicos.

Una chica aparentemente normal, que valora la familia, a su chico, a sus amigos y a la que el sacrificio y el Don que tiene para el surf le han puesto donde está, y que siga por mucho más!! :) Gracias Carissa and congrats! :)

Queen again!

2012, exactly one year ago, Carissa Moore won the world title in Biarritz, she was almost a rookie and she changed the way of women surfing, pushing the rest of the girls to their limits...

it was great to see that evolution!! :) This year, again with only 7 stops, the girls are consolidating this change in their surfing and we are seeing 3-60, reverses and really critical turns in every heat! :).

Coco-Ho, to me she is one of the girls with a great style, love to see her surfing...

Laura Enever, this skinny aussie surprised everyone getting these massive waves and riding these barrels...

Malia Manuel, young hawaiian who I think is going to put the women competing surfing in "the air"...

Sally Fitzggibons, two times in a row runner-up, she is the "always smiling" girl of the women CT, and one of the most competitives. She really knows what she has to do, when and how.

Tyler Wright, from the Wright family (Owen, Micky, Kirby,...), her turns are crazy, she can do tail slides as no other women in the CT, as you can see from the picture :)

With one more stop in the schedule we already have a world champ, Steph Gilmore is back, and although I do not think she showed her best in Biarritz, I totally agree with her being the champ. She is surfing incredible this year, her style, her flow,... she deserves to be the Queen again, so congrats for achiving it! :) Welcome back to the crown Steph!! :)

No one like her

Just a few pictures of Steph Gilmore :) the most talented woman-surfer I have even seen. She has the best style of all the women in the tour. I am already looking forward to see her competing against Carissa in next year season!! :)
