The Oakley Camp is finally here!!! :)

Hi guys! finally, after a year of waiting period (jajja) the Oakley Camp 2012 is here! :)

We are meeting in Galicia this year (hope Luis will guide us around his land... :)). I am soo excited!!! Spending again a weekend with the great people from the team such as Pablo (Pin), Marcelino (the one who does not get the jokes...), Borja (the "waperas"), Mario (the comedian), Yoli (the youngest), etc... It is going to be great!! :)

Lovely Roche

Hi everyonee!!!!

how are you doing??? I am doing great today!!! :) I am HAPPY!!! the reason why I am feeling this good is because yesterday after work I picked up my car and run to the closest beach!! :) I ended up at Roche and I had a really good session :)

At the begining the waves were kind of closing out but I caught some that were really good. And what was my surprise this morning when I opened facebook and I found out that a man was taking pictures of us yesterday and he took some of me!! thanks!! :)

new board + small waves = puffffffff....

Hi everyone!!!! Hope you all had a great weekend!!!!

I went this weekend to pick up two new boards from Watsay :), thank you soooooo muchhhh Gilito!!!! :)

One of them is just a replicate of my "magic board", the one I usually use for my contests. However, the other one is.... hard to define... just FUN!!!!!  It is a "Mixing Model" from Watsay, which is a board for small waves which is always good to have for summer time :) (although I will try it with bigger waves too :) jeje). It is a big widder/shorter, it is really fast and really easy to turn, pretty similar to be skateboarding...

This weekend we had really small waves (actually they were tiny waves), so I decided to try out the Mixing  :). It is hard when one tries a board for the first time, new fellings under your feet, hard to get use to them..., but if ones tries with tiny waves it is just "pufffff......".

My coach was recording outside and I had to talk to him and promise him "I could do better" than what he was seen hahahaha (hope it is true!! jaja).

Portuguese Weekend

Hi!!!

People usually think that surfing is an "individual" sport, that if we like a spot we would not tell anyone about it, that the higher number of waves we catch (and the lower the others) the best, that we only dream/think/breath waves... But after this weekend I can assure you this is not true.

I've been to Portugal this weekend with my friend Ana (Anita pa las amigas :)), I've tried to teach her how to surf (or at least how to catch a wave hahaha) and it has been one of the funniest weekend I've ever had.

Surf is one of the things I love most and sharing it with the people I love is the "BEST" thing ever!!! #greatfeelings!!! :)

We got to Portugal a bit late on Friday, but the Blue Moon came to welcome us! :)

 

We went out for dinner and ended up in a karaoke!! hahaha
